Beautiful hand-woven silk & cotton plaid with a lovely fringe. The weaving technique -a combination of thin and thick threads - gives it a supple and dense structure. Silk and cotton intertwine in a pattern of soft colored checks. Made by women and men from the villages of Bhagalpur, it requires the mastery of different looms, and the full-time work of an artisan for two days.
