Welcome to COUVALOUP, an interior and homeware store inspired by the traditions and atmosphere of 'Le Sud'. The store is located in Wassenaar, in a beautifully restored 1800s village house.

With the North Sea very close by, our collection of furniture, homeware and accessories brings you a touch of the Mediterranée and beyond.

Brands are carefully curated from Portugal, Italy, Spain, France, Morocco and many other countries. COUVALOUP hopes to inspire you with a Nordic take on the Mediterranean spirit. Handmade products of the highest quality in beautiful restrained colors, natural materials; items with soul for your home. We are very proud to be the first in the Netherlands to present the collection of the iconic Parisian brand CARAVANE. In the courtyard we show our outdoor collections, for example Gervasoni from Italy, Adico from Portugal and SillaAcapulco from Mexico.

At COUVALOUP we believe that true elegance lies in simplicity. We have an honest approach to design. Quality and utility are intrinsic and items should be both functional and beautiful. Timeless lifestyle, pure and authentic products, and a personal approach.

We select by quality, fair trade and sustainability and like to think we have a good eye for special details:

Le Style Couvaloup

New Mediterranean style is a distilled expression of traditional design. A lived-in sensibility, with the colors of the landscape and the Mediterranean sea as an inspiration. Crafmanship, creativity, and the use of tactile and natural materials create the COUVALOUP aesthetic. We have sourced a collection of everyday classics which will not date, but which will improve with age, and which are destined to become favourites.
